Indiana University Dance Marathon

President | 2025

As President of Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM), I led one of the largest student-run philanthropic organizations in the country, supporting Riley Hospital for Children. I oversaw the organization's executive leadership, fundraising strategy, event operations, partnerships, and overall organizational direction.

  • Led a 23-person Executive Council overseeing 18 committees and more than 2,700 student participants.

  • Helped lead IUDM to raise over $3.135 million for Riley Hospital for Children during the 2025 fundraising year.

  • Oversaw planning and execution of IUDM's 36-hour Dance Marathon, coordinating event logistics, participant experience, volunteer operations, and cross-functional teams.

  • Managed a large-scale event environment at the IU Tennis Center with a capacity of approximately 1,150 participants at a time across three 12-hour shifts.

  • Developed and strengthened partnerships with university and external organizations, including a partnership with IU Athletics that brought IUDM fundraising into the IU Football experience.

  • Supported major fundraising initiatives and campaigns, including IUDM's annual Day of Hope, which raised a record-breaking $804,000 in a single day in 2025.

  • Oversaw a portfolio of 300+ alumni donors, directing donor engagement, assigning relationships to Executive Council leaders, and coordinating follow-up efforts that generated $100,000+ in fundraising.

  • Personally managed a portfolio of 35 high-value donors and stakeholders, cultivating relationships and generating $30,000+ through campaigns, events, sponsorships, and individual contributions.

Director of Stewardship | 2024

  • Led a 9-member Chair Team and 50+ member committee focused on member, donor, and alumni engagement, stewardship, and organizational culture.

  • Managed @HumansofIUDM, the organization's member-focused Instagram, coordinating weekly member spotlights and account takeovers to celebrate and amplify the stories of IUDM participants.

  • Developed and led organization-wide legacy and educational initiatives, including Ryan & Ashley Week, Mental Health Week, and monthly DEIA Cabinet programming.

  • Created and facilitated DEIA programming addressing topics including organizational accessibility, healthcare equity, and preparing members to work with children with disabilities.

  • Created and launched the Committee Ambassador Program, a new leadership initiative designed to select representatives from each IUDM committee to serve as ambassadors to external groups and dancer teams.

  • Collaborated with executive leadership and committee members to develop initiatives that strengthened IUDM's culture, member experience, and connection to its mission.

Logistics Committee Member, Sigma Pi Team Captain | 2023

  • Joined IUDM as a Logistics Committee Member, supporting the planning and execution of the organization's 36-hour Dance Marathon.

  • Dedicated more than 50 hours to event setup, operations, and teardown, helping transform the venue into a functioning marathon environment and restore it following the event.

  • Attended weekly committee meetings and collaborated with fellow members to prepare for the annual event.

  • Participated in organization-wide fundraising campaigns and initiatives supporting Riley Hospital for Children.

  • Led Sigma Pi's first IUDM team in several years, recruiting 50 fraternity members to participate and collectively raising $12,000+ during Marathon weekend.

  • Led chapter meetings to prepare participants for the event, communicate expectations, and motivate fundraising efforts.

  • Created fundraising graphics, templates, and communications to equip team members with tools to reach their individual fundraising goals.

  • Coordinated the team's participation and attendance with IUDM Executive Council leadership throughout Marathon weekend.

  • Encouraged and facilitated real-time fundraising efforts during the event to maintain momentum and engagement.

ALSAC / St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Event Planning & Business Development Intern | Summer 2025

  • Supported the planning and execution of St. Jude fundraising galas and events, contributing to event logistics, guest experience, and day-of operations.

  • Collaborated with internal teams and external partners to coordinate event needs and ensure successful execution.

  • Created and supported social media, physical mailing, and digital marketing content promoting St. Jude events, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
