IU Dance Marathon
This collection highlights social media and promotional content created for Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM). During my time on the Executive Council, I served as Director of Stewardship and later as President, helping lead communication and engagement efforts supporting fundraising for Riley Hospital for Children. The designs include social media graphics, feed layouts, and infographic-style materials aimed at engaging students, celebrating impact, and communicating key information to the IUDM community.

This social media content supported recruitment, member recognition, and community engagement for IUDM. The work includes recruitment-focused TikTok videos, stewardship Instagram posts highlighting member impact, and trend-based content designed to connect with students through relatable humor and current social media culture.
Friends of IUDM
Overview
With three months remaining before marathon, IUDM was not on track to meet our membership and fundraising goals. In response, I developed and led a new recruitment initiative, “Friends of IUDM,” designed to introduce a lower-barrier entry point for student participation.
Challenge
Traditional participation in IUDM required a significant time and fundraising commitment, which limited accessibility for many students. As a result, recruitment growth had slowed, putting overall fundraising goals at risk.
Strategy
I identified the need to reduce perceived barriers to entry while maintaining meaningful engagement with the organization’s mission. The “Friends of IUDM” concept was created to:
Offer a flexible, low-commitment way to participate
Emphasize social connection and community involvement
Simplify the onboarding and registration process
The one-pager was designed as a central communication tool to support this initiative.
Outcome
The campaign successfully expanded participation by making IUDM more accessible to a broader audience. As a result:
Recruitment goals were exceeded
The organization raised over $3.1 million
This project highlights my ability to identify strategic gaps, develop audience-focused solutions, and execute campaigns that drive measurable results.
